About Marcelle

I have always been interested in photography, but only in recent years have I been able to dedicate myself more fully to its practice. Currently living in Hawai‘i, I am surrounded by landscapes, skies, and wildlife that continually remind me to slow down and pay attention. With a camera in hand, I find myself looking more closely, noticing details that might otherwise pass by in the rush of everyday life.

For me, photography is not only about making images but also about cultivating presence. It teaches me to be patient with light, to listen to silence, and to observe without expectation. Whether I am standing beneath a sky full of stars, watching the waves across the ocean, or witnessing the rhythms of life in a forest, the act of photography becomes a way of honoring what is before me.
